Dear Loveliest Tumblr followers,

I am truly, from the bottom of my heart, sorry that I have been so MIA. Last night my boyfriend stayed up late writing, and I desperately wished I had something to whip out and work on too. These days though there is less writing about music, and more listening and sharing. I’ve received a bunch of private messages from you guys asking me to post music again on here.  I can do that, I’ll be better. I promise.

So, today after waking up with the first headache I’ve had in months, I decided that I needed a day just to relax and listen to music.  Yes, a full today to reconnect with my music loving junkies. I came across Black Pistol Fire a few months ago, and the first thing that I noticed was how much they sound like Jack White. My ears knew what was up, because after researching them a bit I learned that they have the same producer as the White Stripes, Jim Diamond.

There is nothing that I appreciate more than true rock music. Not only is this true rock and roll, but this is TRUE music. Black Pistol Fire consists of just two long-haired-dudes who know how to play their instruments and write meaningful lyrics. And most of the time, that’s all it takes to please me.
